Bruce Becker, P.C., Law Office has provided legal services to individuals and financial institutions for twenty-seven (27) years in Northwest and North Central Iowa. Counties of practice include, but are not limited to, Sac, Calhoun, Carroll, Buena Vista, Ida, and Crawford. Principal areas of practice include probate and estate planning, family law, personal injury claims, and real estate law.
Attorney Bruce Becker’s main office is in Sac City, Iowa, with a satellite office in Lake View, Iowa.
The law office was founded in 1940 by Alan Vest. Bruce Becker joined Alan Vest and Kirby Vest in the Vest Law Firm in May of 1981 after serving three years in the United States Army as a Staff Judge Advocate at Fort Hood, Texas. Kirby Vest passed away in July of 1981, and Alan Vest passed away in July of 2007.
Lawyer Bruce Becker has been awarded an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the nation’s leading legal directory. The “AV” rating is the highest rating that can be achieved by an attorney for both legal ability and ethical conduct. Mr. Becker has also been recognized in the national publication Who’s Who Among American Attorneys. Attorney Becker was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal upon his honorable discharge as a Captain in the United States Army.
Mr. Becker has been a member of the Iowa State Bar Association since 1978 and a member of the Sac County Bar Association since 1981. He served as President of the Sac County Bar Association from 1986 to 1988 and from 1998 to 2005. He presently serves on the Sac County Magistrate Commission.
